Tomorrow is the big one, the announcement of New Zealand's biggest literary prize - The Montana book awards.
But tonight was the chance for the book stores around the country to have their moment to shine at the Hachette New Zealand Ltd Conference Dinner & Industry Awards.
I'll bring you a full list of winners as soon as I can but for now a huge congratulations to Independent Bookshop of the Year recipients Unity Books in Wellington. And I am so proud that one of my all time favourite book stockists in my beloved home town of Palmerston North took out Regional Bookshop of the Year - North Island - yay for Bruce McKenzie Booksellers on George Street!!
