Heartbroken

You know how when you were a kid and you were always looking for reasons to believe you were secretly adopted? My mother has just confirmed it by reading not just one of the Twilight books, but all of them. AND ENJOYING THEM.

God helps me when she discovers Fifty Shades of Grey.

Just be thankful she's not reading Mills & Boon (yet) - or is she??

Oh dear that reminds me of my (paternal) Grandma, a very pious woman who never missed church each week and read her bible every morning before breakfast - who was also a crazy mad Mills and Boon fiend. She must have read thousands of them over the years which she bought and sold through the local second hand book shop. It was always a bit disconcerting seeing her sitting at the table with her bible, search-a-word puzzle magazine and her sexy-man-clutching-a-damsel-in-distress covered books!

Love ya Grandma xoxo

Lol. I suspect you shall abandon our friendship at this but I have to confess to reading and thoroughly enjoying the Fifty Shades trilogy.
I'm also known to read the odd Mills and Boon.

Plus I said Lol at the start of this comment.

there really is no hope left for me!

We might just have to agree to disagree when it comes to the Fifty Shades series. :P
